In addition to Ensemble Voltaire, Allison Guest Edberg is a member of Olde Friends, ViVaCe, the Mirabel Classical Quartet, and the Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra. She has collaborated in recent years with Apollo's Fire, the Washington Bach Consort, La Monica, and Early Music Southwest, and is frequently featured at the Bloomington Early Music Festival. Ms. Edberg has recorded for the Electra and Centaur CD labels. She was a scholarship student at Indiana University where she studied with Stanley Ritchie, with whom she appeared in recital at Chicago's Quigley Chapel. The Chicago Sun TImes described her playing that evening as “impeccable, with unerring intonation and an austere beauty…”. Ms. Edberg has been a faculty member at Lawrence University, Ohio State University, and DePauw University and is currently teaching at Indiana State University.
