baroque fluteBarbara Kallaur, flute, is Assistant Professor at the Early Music Institute, Indiana University, Bloomington, where she teaches historical flutes. Ms. Kallaur is founding member of both Ensemble Voltaire (formerly Ensemble Ouabache), and the Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra. She has recorded for the Canadian Broadcast Corp., National Public Radio, Radio Nederland, Indiana University Press, and Catalpa Classics, and is in frequent demand as a lecturer at universities and colleges throughout the United States and Canada. Recently, she has appeared as a lecturer and recitalist at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory and Glinka Museum in Moscow, and along side her former teacher, Barthold Kuijken, as a concerto soloist in a series of performances with the Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra.
