Christopher Verrette, violin, is a founding member of Ensemble Voltaire (formerly Ensemble Ouabache). A member of Tafelmusik, Toronto, since 1993, Mr. Verrette performs frequently with Opera Atelier, the Seattle Baroque Orchestra, and The King's Noyse, and has appeared as guest leader and soloist with the Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra. He has recorded for Dorian Recordings, Cedille Records, Centaur Records, and Sony Classical. Mr. Verrette has a Performer's Certificate from Indiana University, where his principal Baroque violin teacher was Stanley Ritchie.
